Good to Great Schools Australia (GGSA) is a not for profit organisation which drives education reform by supporting Australian education systems and communities to help their schools successfully deliver 21st century programs that meet the needs of all their students.
We have been focusing on the long tail of underachievement in Australia’s remote schools and have developed a customised Direct Instruction and Explicit Direct Instruction implementation model for our Great Teaching Program. These models both respond to the unique needs of remote Australian schools and they align with the Australian Curriculum and local teaching and learning contexts.
Located in Cairns, the Business Support Officer (BSO) is responsible for providing high level administrative support to executive and across the organisation. Activities include Board governance, project support, organisation secretariat, document management, information management and travel bookings. Reporting to the CFO, this role will include support to the Business Services areas such as assets and facilities, procurement, correspondence and contract management.
