Chairman and founder mentioned in reform initiative

Good to Great Schools Australia chairman and founder Noel Pearson was mentioned in an article in The Australian from April 16, 2014. The article profiles Ian Trust , who “has spent months adapting a welfare model in which his people of the remote East Kimberley would be answerable to an Aboriginal “court” for their social and personal obligations.”

“His scheme is modelled on one devised by Noel Pearson at the Cape York Institute in far north Queensland and will ask people to be responsible for their children attending school, being in work or training, paying rent on time, being crime-free and keeping young people and children safe.”
